A little over a year ago, I sat down and drew up a budget for everything I would need to live without a salary for one year. The graphic on the left (click on it to make it fullsize) is what I came up with. The total came to $15,000, a goal I hit in August 2013. This year, with that money, I have been able to pay my parents about $600 a month, which helps support things like planting churches, paying teachers, and feeding and educating children. I have also been able to do things like pay for airfare, contribute to the wedding of a friend who would not have been able to get married otherwise, and pay for a hernia surgery last month. I have never worried about money, even though the Bible school has not had to pay me one cent.
