I was born to missionary parents in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 1985. They worked in a Christian school until 1988, when they moved to the north of Haiti to plant a church in the second-largest city of Cap-Haitien. My parents have also started an elementary school with a feeding program and a Bible college and have sent out four church planters. You can read more about their work at rehobothhaiti.com.
In 2003, I graduated from high school and moved to the U.S. to go to Portland Bible College (Portland, Ore.), where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology in 2007. After graduating from PBC, I went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky., graduating in 2011. In 2013, I returned to Haiti to work as a professor at Institut Biblique l’Alliance de Grâce, where I am now a professor and the academic director. I also teach history at Cowman International School.
Hello. I stumbled upon your site on Twitter. I’m in Haiti for a month for work. Is there a Protestant church you might recommend in port-au-prince?
I’m so sorry, Lensi. I have just now seen your message. Hope you found a church to attend. If you’re still there, let me know.
